Meet James Webster — European experience, here in Enoggera
James brings more than a decade of experience across Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and other European marques to his role as Workshop Manager at North Star Motors.
His career has included international dealership work, developing his skills in environments where careful testing, technical knowledge and attention to detail matter. He is Porsche Bronze Certified, with Silver certification in progress. Porsche’s technician certification is a stepped programme (Bronze, Silver and Gold), where each level builds on the last through further factory-standard training and assessment. His background also includes experience with servicing, complex electrical diagnosis, engine repairs and transmission systems.
At North Star Motors, James applies that experience to the vehicles our customers rely on every day. Whether investigating a persistent warning light, a running problem or a gearbox fault, his approach centres on understanding the symptoms and testing the possible causes before recommending repairs.
He also guides the workshop team, sharing his knowledge and supporting a consistent standard of work.
For customers, James’s experience means access to specialist European vehicle knowledge within a local, independent workshop—with clear explanations to help them understand their car and the work being recommended.
